Before Brunette Vet Studio, founder Kristy Weber had a completely different career path.  At the age of 18, Kristy joined the United States Marine Corps.  Yes, that's right, Kristy is a proud Marine Veteran.  In June of 2020, she retired.

Although, the Marines is not the beauty industry, Kristy feels it was a steppingstone that God had put in her path to prepare her for her future.  During her retirement, she spent time with her family.  In August of 2021, Kristy made an appointment to have her eyebrows done with a new technique known as Nano Brows.  It was at this time she decided to become a Permanent Makeup Artist...Literally, lying on the table while the Permanent Makeup Artist was doing her brows.

Kristy has always had an eye for perfection since she was young and prides herself on her attention to detail which was heightened with her career and training in the Marine Corps.  She was trained and is currently still mentored by the most amazing and artistic brow artist around...Sammi Touw.   Kristy is also certified in Permanent Makeup Removal and Ink Less Stretch Mark Revision.  She has continued her education as well through the Beauty Inkstitute, Lauren Taylor Ink, The Beauty Angels Academy, and Jodi Stoski, as Kristy believes constant and consistent knowledge is power.
